It is marinated in molasses for three days and then I smoke it with cherry wood over low heat for 12 hours. Sold in half hams which weigh 9 lbs.

Great Ham, excellent value.
I ordered the ham for Thanksgiving and it arrived the Tuesday before, perfect timing. Everything in the order was nicely packaged and it arrived in excellent condition. I heated the ham up on the grill with indirect heat until it reached 125 internal temperature. I let it rest for about an hour before carving, it was excellent all the guests were very impressed. When I received the ham it felt heavy to me, it was 12.5 pounds. A great value, most places are over $100 for a ham this size and I am sure they are not given the attention that Sam gives to all his products. Thanks Sam.

Ham! What so special about ham.
The experience where ham becomes something very special and unique that the entire ham is completed in one setting because no one wants to stop! The customer service and delivery exceeded expectations and while seemingly impossible the Ham exceeded those expectations. It was wonderful and it is totally gone....except for the ham hock which will now be used in making beans.
