Perfect Much better than store bought. Not too salty with a nice smoke flavor
I have ordered from all of the artisan ham suppliers, they are virtually all too salty, too funky, etc. Sam's hams are like a fine cut of roasted pork with a smoky exterior, not too salty so the flavor of the meat is there. Don't hesitate !
Overall was super high quality, flavorful. and very low in fat. Best of all, the ham was not salty at all, being much more like what you'd get in Europe, where they don't inject salt just for the sake of making it salty like is typically done in America. It fed 6 people for Christmas dinner , with enough leftover to make a nice maco-cheese-and-ham as well as split pea soup (bone boiled).
