Not only did it arrive well packed, it was nearly gone on Christmas Eve! Texture, taste and to forever be enjoined in a meal mind. Salmon has been consumed from Vancouver to Cape Breton Island and this is the best! Salmon, penne pasta, capers, shredded parmesan and a little oil. Dry white wine. Oh happy, happy times and when no one is looking - lick the plate.
When smoked salmon on an appetizer tray causes family fights between teenage children you know you have found something special. No one was harmed in the eating of the salmon but a few elbows were thrown and some salmon skin was mashed into the carpet that subsequently was handled by the dog who is very thankful he was adopted into our family.
So I bought a pound of this delicacy for a cocktail party. Most smoked salmon is tasteless and dry, not this one. So instead of having left overs for me, all I received were complaints because I did not have enough to meet the demand. Sam has outdone himself with this product.
